1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using PaxMoney, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. PaxMoney is not intended for users under the age of 13.

2. Nature of service (not financial advice)

PaxMoney is a portfolio tracking and visualization tool.

2.1 No advice - Content, calculations, and forecasts (including AI outputs) are informational only and for personal use - Nothing in the app constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice - You should consult a licensed professional when appropriate

2.2 Accuracy and risk - Market data may come from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate - Projections, estimates, and forecasts are not guarantees of results - Past performance does not guarantee future results - You are solely responsible for your investment decisions

2.3 Calculations depend on your data - Results, metrics, and reports depend on the data you enter/import - If you enter/import incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information, results may be inaccurate

3. Account, login, and security

  • Sign-in may be via email/password, Google, or Apple
  • You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or create security risks

4. Imports and AI (Google Gemini)

If you use import features (PDF/CSV/images) and AI: - You authorize the processing required to extract information from your files - The app may convert content to base64 and send it to Google Gemini API for analysis - AI may produce errors, inaccuracies, and "hallucinations." AI-generated outputs are not guarantees of accuracy and you are responsible for verifying all results against your original documents before relying on them - AI outputs are for personal use only and should not be publicly shared as financial advice - We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI outputs

5. Subscriptions and payments

PaxMoney offers Premium plans (monthly and annual) via in-app purchases.

5.1 Billing and management - Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play - Subscriptions auto-renew per store rules unless cancelled before the renewal date - You manage/cancel subscriptions in store settings (Apple: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions / Google: Play Store > Subscriptions) - Subscription fees are generally non-refundable

5.2 Price changes - We may change plan prices with prior notice - Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance of the new price

5.3 Free trial - New users may receive a free trial period - Trial terms and duration may be modified at any time

6. Shared features (shared dashboards)

If you use shared features: - Sharing is handled via invitations and authorized member lists - You are responsible for who you invite and what you share - You can revoke access as available within the feature

7. Prohibited use

You agree not to: - Use the app for illegal purposes - Access other users' data without authorization - Bypass authentication, Firestore rules, or security mechanisms - Exploit vulnerabilities, disrupt the service, or abuse automation - Use the service to gather competitive intelligence or to develop a competing product - Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code - Run spam, scraping, or crawling operations on the service

8. Intellectual property

PaxMoney, including brand, UI, content, features, and algorithms, is protected by intellectual property laws. - You retain ownership of your data - You grant us permission to process your data only to operate the service - You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without written authorization

9. Service availability ("as is")

  • The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
  • We may maintain, change, suspend, or remove features at any time
  • For material changes that impact existing functionality, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation
  • You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data when necessary

10. Market Data Integrations and Disclaimer

  • **Third-Party Services:** PaxMoney integrates with third-party market data providers ("Providers") to display quotes, historical prices, and financial indicators. You acknowledge that PaxMoney acts solely as a visualization interface and that the developer has no control over the accuracy, integrity, or continuous availability of such data.
  • **Delays and Latency (Quotes Disclaimer):** Financial data may be subject to regulatory exchange delays (typically 15 to 20 minutes) or may reflect end-of-day prices, depending on the market and Provider. PaxMoney does not guarantee that quotes reflect the exact market value at the time of viewing.
  • **Not Financial Advice:** This app is a tracking and simulation tool. No feature, including AI-generated projections, constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or obtain investment advice. Decisions based on the app's information are solely your responsibility.
  • **Limitation of Responsibility:** Under no circumstances will PaxMoney or its developer be responsible for financial losses, lost profits, or damages arising from data errors, unavailability of integrated APIs, or misinterpretation of displayed information.
  • **Service Changes:** The developer reserves the right to change market data providers, adjust access levels, or modify the technical API architecture at any time, without prior notice, to ensure service sustainability.

11. Apple App Store and Google Play terms

11.1 The application is licensed (not sold) for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control.

11.2 Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the application.

11.3 In the event of any failure of the application to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple/Google to request a refund of the purchase price. Beyond that, Apple and Google have no other warranty obligation with respect to the application.

11.4 PaxMoney (not Apple or Google) is responsible for addressing any claims related to the application.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: - PaxMoney is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data - PaxMoney's total liability for any claims related to use of the service is limited to the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid in the last 12 months for the service - These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, or otherwise)

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PaxMoney harmless from liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: - violation of these Terms - illegal use of the app - unauthorized access attempts, abuse, fraud, or infringement of third-party rights - content you share or publish

14. Termination and account deletion

You may delete your account within the app. We may suspend/terminate access for violations, legal obligations, or security risks. When practical, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

15. Dispute resolution

15.1 Informal resolution Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute amicably by contacting us at contact@paxmoney.app. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter within 30 days.

15.2 Class action waiver To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class or representative actions against PaxMoney.

16. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Where permitted by law, disputes will be handled in the competent courts of São Paulo, SP.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. For material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notice with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the service.

18. General provisions

  • If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
  • Failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver
  • These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and PaxMoney
