US Treasury Securities
T-Bills (Treasury Bills): Maturity up to 1 year. Sold at discount, no coupon. Equivalent to Brazil's Tesouro Selic.
T-Notes: 2-10 year maturity. Pay semiannual interest.
T-Bonds: 20-30 year maturity. Pay semiannual interest. For long-term investment.
TIPS (Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities): Inflation-protected (CPI). Equivalent to Brazil's Tesouro IPCA+.
CDs (Certificates of Deposit): Issued by banks. Fixed rate for a set term.
